J. and I finished Charlotte's Web and another of White's books, The Trumpet of the Swan. It was so sweet to read about the humble little spider that saves a pig's life with J. It took me back to when I read it as a girl!
I stumbled upon letters E.B., a.k.a.: Andy; wrote to people. The above quote is one of them. When I read it, I laughed so hard.
